Transmission Identification

There are many of us out there who have trouble identifying transmissions when we are running through the wrecking or scrap yard. Classic Industries has been pouring over numerous reference books to bring some understanding to this important and troublesome question. The transmission pans are the best way to discern the difference between the many varieties of transmissions. This is only a generalization and there are other smaller differences between the years of the transmission production but this will ensure that you are spending your time much more wisely not on some unusable hulk that will only make you scream after you've spent every ounce of sweat and blood to remove.
