Annular ring injection design produces air/fuel charge with better mixture as well as even distribution among cylinders. Better air fuel ratio's mean better idle quality, better starting andbetter overall drivability throughout RPM range. Features: Internal Fuel Rail: MSD designed the fuel rail to be integral to the throttle body assembly. Not only does this present a sleek appearance but also removes fitting connections where leaks could develop. Note that with a single fuel line, you can bring the fuel line up from the back or use the front fitting. Annular Rings: These were incorporated to deliver superior atomization of fuel mixture, resultinginthe best air/fuel mixture. The design ensures best possible fuel mixture delivery to each cylinder. Mount and Blades: The Atomic throttle body bolts right in place of a standard square bore carburetor and accepts linkage of most carburetors. Throttle inlets are 1.75" in diameter and ridein precision roller bearings for smooth pedal transition. ECU and Sensors The ECU is integral to the throttle body. Unique design reduces wiring and keeps your EFI installation easier than ever. Better yet, we incorporated the TPS, MAP, IAT and fuel pressure sensors into the ECU. The only sensors you will need to connect are the coolant temperature and oxygen sensor. Injectors: Fuel delivery is provided by four precision 80-pound injectors. Injectors feature stainless ball and seat metering method for maximum internal sealing. For secure mount, injectors are sealed between housing and cast fuel rails. Throttle Position Sensor: Atomic's TPS is unlike any other. It's automatic, self-calibrating, non-contact sensor means you don't have to worry about configuring during set up.
