1963-73 Ford / Mercury 260/289/302 V8 Heat-Riser Choke Tube - Mustang / Ranchero / Falcon / F100
Reproduction heat-riser choke tube set ford various 1963-69 Ford and Mercury 8-cylinder models including Mustang, Falcon, Ranchero, and Comet. This set fits 260, 289, and 302 cid V8 engines with 2 or 4-barrel automatic choke carburetors. It consists of the aluminum tubes that run from the exhaust manifolds to the choke mechanism, fiberglass insulating sleeves, rubber hose, brass fittings, and S-clip. Clogged of leaking choke tubes can cause difficult starting and poor fuel economy. Replacement is most often the best long-term solution to a malfunctioning choke tube.
