PROFORM Wedge-Locking Header Bolts 3/8"-16 Thread Diameter - 3/4" Long (Set of 16)
PROFORM Grade 8 (12.9 steel) header bolts are designed to keep bolts from backing off. These permanently assembled bolts feature special washers with super-hardened serrated teeth that, when sufficiently torqued, the washers bite into and grab the bottom of the bolt head and the top surface of the header. After being self-locked in this manner, any bolt-loosening rotation is blocked by a wedge-locking action created by the washers interfacing, matching cams. Engine vibration increases the tension, making them even more secure! They are re-useable and you can count on them to not fail. Sold as one complete set of 16 pieces with black oxide finish.
