Fast Burn 385 GM Performance parts Base+ Crate Engine

This engine is really a ZZ4 on steroids. It is basically a ZZ4 short block with a set of GM Performance Parts 23 degree fast burn heads. These heads have a 62cc combustion chamber designed to burn t he fuel mixture more efficiently and create higher pressure in the combustion chamber. The Fast Burn 385 is topped off with a high rise aluminum dual plane intake manifold and an internal coil H.E.I. distributor. These differences translate to an addition al 30HP over a standard ZZ4!

Base+ Engines include an intake manifold andalso include a distributor on select models. Base+ engines allow you to choose your own carburetor/fuel injection system to suit your tastes.
