1955-57 Chevrolet "Gasser" Chassis

This "Gasser" chassis from Woody's Hot Rodz returns 1955-57 Chevrolet hot rodding to its roots.

Equipped with full perimeter frame that will bolt to any original or reproduction body (all body styles including wagons and convertibles). Body m ounting points are in stock locations as well as crossmember for core-support. Front end has parallel leaf spring design straight axle with new cast spindles, Chevrolet late model disc brakes, shocks, and hardware. Rear end is Ford 9" housing using in-boa rd leaf springs and 31 spline axles. Housing comes with axle but without gears and brakes. Heavy-duty rear shock bar is added for strength, improved ride, to protect the body, and uses 5 x 4-3/4" wheel stud pattern. Stock bumper mounting holes are pre-dri lled. Engine and transmission mounts are sold separately for drive-train combo of your choice.
