Replace a non working or worn out gear box with this quality remanufactured power steering gear box. Each gear box is completely tested for reliability and quality before leaving the factory, has a 1 year limited warranty and is cosmetically correct so you can maintain complete originality. Features: 100% computerized hydraulic testing measures for proper flow, leakage and performance to ensure perfect fit and function. New o-rings and lip seals ensure no leakin g and long-lasting performance. Critical components (campacs, spool valves, etc.) are triple-tested to ensure product reliability. Rust inhibitive "Cool Dip" finish is a penetrating dye that completely covers all exposed surfaces for a consistent, protective finish that will not crack, flake or peel. Shafts are surfaced to precise specifications to eliminate premature seal wear and extend gear life. Supplied with 100% tested and calibrated pressure relief valves for guaranteed performance. Specifications: 7/16" female inverted flare pressure port 3/8" female inverted flare return port 3/4" input shaft Standard 3 to 3-1/2 turns lock to lock No exchange required: The core charge is built into the price, so it is not necessary to return the original core. Important: The steering system must be flushed and replaced with OE Recommended Fluid. Hoses should be inspected and replaced if they have been in use for more than 5 years. Note: Shipped overweight. This 14:1 ratio unit provides superior control and feedback, thanks to low friction recirculating ball gears. An open-centered rotary valve provides smooth operation while retaining excellent road feel and steering response. This gearbox is a great upgrade for manual steering and power steering models with the larger 605 power steering gearbox. Works with the factory power steering pitman arm and 3/4"-30 rag joint. Important: For 1967-76 models must use rag joint GB50730 when replacing original power steering box with 500 series power steering box. For 1979 models must use fittings with inverted flare to metric o-ring hoses GB50091. Note: No further discounts apply.
