If you are looking to upgrade your stock coil, or want to compliment the performance of your MSD Blaster Ignition, MSD 5, 6 or 7, the Blaster Coil line is the right choice. All of the Blaster Coils are designed for improved spark output!

With a stock points style ignition, a ballast resistor must be placed in-line with the positive terminal of the coil. This Blaster 2 Coil is supplied with a 0.8 ohm ballast resistor plus a terminal and boot to fit most applications.

Blaster Ignitio n, MSD 5, 6 or 7 Ignition Control and most late model vehicles with electronic ignitions do not require a ballast resistor.
