1965-81 Back Up Lamp Switch
Mounted on the transmission, the back up lamp switch for 1973-81 models is an open switch that prevents voltage from being applied to the back up lamps until the vehicle is put in reverse.
Putting the vehicle in reverse closes the contact and applies power to the rear back up lamps.
