Chevy Small Block w/Stamped Steel Covers Stainless Steel 12 Point Head 8 Piece Valve Cover Bolt Set

The heads feature a wide base for better load distribution and sealing (helps prevent those pesky gasket leaks), while the compact head is easily accessed.

This Stainless Steel set has 1/4"-20 bolts and is shipped with the required fla t washers.

With ARP you have a choice of two premium quality materials and finishes.

Traditionalists will ap preciate the strength and functionality of ARP's heat-treated 8740 Chrome Moly steelalloy bolts, which feature a Black Oxide finish.
Those who desire a dazzling engine will no doubt prefer fasteners made of ARP's specially alloy ed Stainless 300 material, which has the added benefit of being virtually impervious to rust and corrosion. The Stainless Steel is polished to achieve a brilliant luster, and provides a distinctive, maintenance free environment.

Both materials are nominally rated at 170,000 psi tensile strength and come in both hex and 12-point heads.
