These recessed-style wiper arms are designed to drop down below the hood area near the windshield, remaining hidden from view when not in use. Each set includes 18" blades for a complete replacement.

"recessed wipers" refer to a windshield wiper system where the wiper arms and blades sit lower on the cowl panel, tucked beneath the rear edge of the hood line when in the parked position. This design was introduced as an option beginning in 1970 and carried into 1971. The purpose was both aesthetic and functional, it gave the Camaro a cleaner look and reduced wind lift at higher speeds.
