High Flow Aluminum Small Block Short Water Pump with Clockwise Rotation and 5/8" Shaft
For over 20 years, Stewart Components has focused on the development and production of high performance water pumps, resulting in innovations like special high-strength castings, larger flow passages, more efficient impellers, and stronger bearings. Ev ery pump is designed to exacting tolerances for reliable, long-term performance, offering maximum flow with minimum power consumption.
These pumps deliver up to 180 GPM (gallons per minute) of coolant flow at 8,000 RPM, yet consume just 2.26 hor sepower at 4,000 RPM! Each Stewart pump is hand assembled and tested at 10,000 RPM.
This Stewart Components Stage 2 water pump uses brand new 356-T6 heat treated aluminum castings that is precision machined to be compatible with stock l ines and brackets. This pump features several significant performance upgrades compared to Stage 1 pumps for maximum performance.
Features:- High flow impeller
- Equal flow to left and right cylinder heads
- High flow and pressure 356-T6 heat treated aluminum specially ribbed casting
- Precision ground fan hub with dual bolt pattern
- Zinc-plated rear cover and bolts
- Extra rigid cam stop with 3/8" adjustment screw for small block models
- Two 1/2" NPT auxiliary inlets
- Extra material on small block Chevrolet models for installing external lines to center of the cylinder heads
- This small block water pump require s the use of a high flow, modified thermostat (sold separately) due to elimination of factory bypass holes.
- Block off brass plug (sold separately) will be needed for intake manifold also where bypass connected
