Auto Meter MCX Series Electric 2-1/16" Short-Sweep 0-90 OHM Electric Fuel Level Gauge
The MCX Street Rod series features a domed lens, bright white dial face, black numbering and increments and flourescent red pointer needles and a chrome Super Bezel. When lit for night time use, the MCX series gauges display "full-dial" white illumination provided by patented LED lighting technology.
This fuel gauge reads 0 ohms empty and 90 ohms full.

Important: Before ordering, check to make sure stated resistance range for the gauge matches your sending unit value for proper operation. Measure resistance using an ohmmeter with the sending unit float in the empty and full position to determine the correct fuel gauge. The chart below maybe helpful in determining what resistance range of gauge to use.
- 0 ohms empty / 30 ohms full for most GM vehicles before 1965
- 0 ohms empty / 90 ohms full for most GM vehicles1966 to 1997
- 240 ohms empty / 33 ohms full for uninveral sender part # AM3262
