1987-Up Chevy Small Block with Center Bolt Covers Black Oxide Hex Head 8 Piece Valve Cover Bolt Set

The heads feature a wide base for better load distribution and sealing (helps prevent those pesky gasket leaks), while the compact head is easily accessed.

This Black Oxide set has 1/4"-20 x 3.250" bolts and required flat washers.

With ARP you have a choice of two premium quality materials and finishes.

Traditionalists will appreciate the st rength and functionality of ARP's heat-treated 8740 Chrome Moly steel alloy bolts,which feature a Black Oxide finish.
Those who desire a dazzling engine will no doubt prefer fasteners made of ARP's specially alloyed Stainless 30 0 material, which has the added benefit of being virtually imperviousto rust and corrosion. The Stainless Steel is polished to achieve a brilliant luster, and provides a distinctive, maintenance free environment.

Both mate rials are nominally rated at 170,000 psi tensile strength and come in both hex and 12-point heads.
