1955-59 Chevy, GMC; Pickup Front 6 Lug Disc Brake Conversion Set; with Hub Upgrade
The 6-lug disc brake set contains the key components needed to add modern disc braking power to your 1/2 ton spindles while using your stock hubs. Featuring 1-1/4" thick, 12" rotors with a GM full-floating caliper design, this kit delivers improved stopping performance and heat dissipation over original drum brakes. The included power brake booster assembly mounts in the stock location and works with the original brake pedal for factory-style operation.
Set Includes:- Power brake booster
- Master cylinder
- Hub upgrade
- Proportioning valve
- 12" rotors
- Factory-style loaded cast iron calipers
- Caliper mounting brackets
- Flex hoses
- Mounting brackets and hardware
- Upgrades braking performance while retaining stock-style hubs
- Factory-style booster mounts in OEM location using the original brake pedal
- Full-floating GM calipers for reliable, consistent braking
- 1-1/4" thick, 12" rotors improve heat dissipation and reduce fade
- Complete kit includes major components for straightforward installation

Important:- Requires a minimum of a 15" wheel
- May not work with some factory wheels
- 1947-50 trucks may require drilling lower spindle holes from 7/16" to 1/2"
- Original manual transmission models require modifications to the transmission crossmember
- Not for use with aftermarket 2" drop spindles
