Harmonic balancers are an effective way of extending the life of your engine by dampening harmful crankshaft vibrations. The torque inputs from the piston and rod assemblies bend and twist the crankshaft slightly with every power stroke. The crank then rebounds when the next cylinder fires.

A harmonic balancer quiets these potentially destructive vibrations. Replacing the balancer in your engine could help add years of long lasting dependable performance to your engine.

Fits intern al balanced 1975-80 400, 1977-86 305, and 1977-86 350 V8 engines. These are factory original replacements specifically designed for small block V8s.
