You can never have too much power or too much displacement! For those of us who like to Super-Size, Chevrolet Performance Parts offers the ZZ502/502. As the name implies, it features a gargantuan five-hundred-and-two cubic inches of displacement. The 502 is Chevrolet Performance Parts' "Rat" motor, which is more than capable of delivering one HP per cubic inch-- an amazing standard for power.

Chevrolet Performance Parts has put together the ZZ502/502 as a convenient partial engine assembly as the Base version oft he 502. Simply get this "beast in a box" and then finish it however you like! You get the big block 502 cid V8, four-bolt main muscle and just enough of the "finish work" to take the headache out of choosing parts without missing out on the fun of buildi ng your engine to your specifications.

The Base engine boasts 4.47" bores and is stroked to 4.00" comes with aluminum, oval port cylinder heads with generous 110cc combustion chambers and its big-time valvetrain features 2.25" intake and 1.88" exhaust valves to keep your 502 breathing freely! It also features a forged-steel crankshaft and is paied with a hydraulic-roller camshaft for outstanding performance.

• Clutch linkage boss is cast into block, but must be drilled and tapped.
• When using cast iron exhaust manifolds, lower headbolts may need to be replaced with bolts with shorter heads for clearance.
• Requires electric fuel pump because the Gen VI block has no mechanical pump boss.
• Comes with a 14" auto transmission flexplate.
• When installing a 1991 or newer GEN V or GEN VI big block in early Camaro, Firebird or 1968 and up Nova it will require the use of part # G4233 oil pan kit (sold separately).
