1956 Chevrolet 2 Door Sedan Body Skeleton without Dash
Our Weld-ThruTM* reproduction 1956 Chevrolet 2 door sedan body skeleton is designed and manufactured exactly as original. If your Tri-5's body is rusted out and beyond replacing individual panels, or if you just want to build an entire car, then this body skeleton assembly is for you.
Manufactured using 16, 18 and 20 gauge steel just like the original, each skeleton is delivered in our exclusive corrosion resistant silver weld-thru coating. Each body receives a personalized body information tag and Real Deal Steel body number.
This skeleton appears exactly as original but feature 25% more spot welds than original cars for added strength. Accepts all aftermarket, reproduction and original body trim, frame and mechanical components. Quarter panel, door, door hinge and deck lid installation available. Our all new coating process is designed to eliminate the unnecessary process of grinding or sanding the EDP coating off to ensure a solid and rust free weld. This "Weld- Thru" primer requires minimal preparation and eliminates corrosion problems between overlapped panels and layered spot welds. It also minimizes heat zone problems, reduces panel distortion, and allows better penetration into the dense replacement steel to compensate for the older metal's impurities.
