For 1967-68 models, the original under dash mounting hardware and floor mount can be used. An original equipment steering wheel from a 1969 or n ewer GM vehicle will bolt up directly to the column. To use with pre 1969 stock steering wheel you will need to order part # 2612100040 Ididit steering wheel adapte. Most afte rmarket steering wheels will attach with an adapter.

Important: If the original column has a press-fit rag-joint, replace the rag-joint. If rag-joint is removable, it may be re-used. Please consider however that du e to age, the original rag joint may be worn so please double check to make sure it is in good working condition. We always recommend replacing the rag joint.
