OER reproduction of the original die-cast metal horn button retainer that fits a wide variety of Chrysler, Plymouth, and Dodge models equipped with the Tuff Wheel steering wheel. Produced in die-cast metal just like the original Mopar retainer for authenticity and durability. This horn cap retainer is a must when installing a horn cap on your Tuff Wheel steering wheel. Includes hardware to fasten it to your horn contact switch.

You can also use this item to convert a non-Tuff Wheel horn contact for use with a Tuff Wheel steering wheel. Many of the aftermarket horn contact switches were equipped with a plastic retainer that is prone to breaking. You can replace a broken plastic retainer with this die-cast piece to add OE quality and durability to your aftermarket or service replacement horn contact switch.

Note: For horn contact assembly (aka the horn switch) to fit the Mopar Tuff Wheel Style Steering Wheels, use part # 2822126. Part # 2822126 can be used on Tuff Wheel models if you install this Tuff-Wheel horn cap retainer.
