MSD; 1960-76 Mopar; 426-440; Ready-To-Run Pro-Billet Distributor; With Vacuum Advance; With Built-In Ignition Module And Rev Limiter

This distributor features a flawless lightweight CNC-machined 6061-T-6 billet aluminum housing and a polished steel shaft with a QPQ, or Tuftride coating. This process produces a durable finish that reduces friction and resists corrosion.

To accurately guide the shaft, MSD uses a sealed ball bearing located at the top of the housing. At the bottom of the housing, an extra long sintered bushing controls the shaft. This combination keeps the shaft spinning smooth and accurately throughout 10,0 00+ rpm.

• 1. Ground the Gray tach output wire.
• 2. Turn on power to the ignition without cranking the engine.
• 3. Hold the Gray tach output wire to ground for seven seconds. (AT LEAST five seconds.)
• 4. Release the wire from ground before ten seconds have passed.
• 5. To confirm the process has worked, cycle the ignition power off and b ack on.
• To activate the feature again, repeat the same process.
