Intermediate shaft bushings support the intermediate shaft and are pressed into the block. While replacing your intermediate shaft, don't forget to replace the bushing as well. Our aftermarket bronze bushings are a significant improvement over the factory aluminum units which were Chrysler part #1737725 from 1958-67, and then 2863584 from 1968-end of production. Fits all engines, all years. (even small blocks.) The old ones are easy to remove with the oil pump off, just tap them out from the oil pump side with the right size socket & extension or piece of rod stock, etc.
