1967-87 Chevrolet, GMC Truck; 2WD; Small Block; 1-3/4" Uncoated Mid-Length Hedman Hedders

Hedman Hedders uncoated mid-length headers for 1967-87 Chevrolet and GMC 1/2 and 3/4 ton 2-wheel drive pickup trucks. They are designed for use on 283-400ci small block Chevy engines with factory GM aluminum or cast iron head with either angle or straight plugs. The short, compact design of these headers allows for higher exhaust system mounting for maximum ground clearance. Hedman Standard-Duty headers are constructed from mandrel-bent 16-gauge mild steel tubing with 5/16? head flanges and 1/4? collector flanges. Includes headers, gaskets, adapters, and mounting hardware.

Important: The black paint applied to these at the factory is merely to protect the bare metal from corrosion while in inventory and during shipping. This coating is not a high temperature paint and will burn off after only a few minutes of use on a warmed engine.
