1958-64 Impala / Full Size 600 Series Power Steering Conversion Set

This is a bolt in power steering conversion set for small block engines with a short water pump.

• Remanufactured 600 steering box
• Adapter plate bracket
• Power steering pump
• Pump mount brackets
• Pulley
• U-joint
• Splined steering shaft

• 3/4" - 36 spline column
• Mounting hardware

Important: Can re-use steering column coupler.

Note: If allignment issues are present you may have to shim the gear box to properly align with steering shaft. Must use manual drag link adaptor 990007 (sold separately) on cars equipped with factory style power steering.

Note: A SBC with a short water pump may require a third groove on the crank for the p/s pump pulley, use part# G7190 power steering crank pulley. This bolts on to the two-groove crank pulley. This will line up the crank pulley with the pump pulley.

Note: It is recommended to purchase steering linkage kit SLK6164 (sold separately), along with this power steering conversion set to prevent the vehicle from drifting.
