1967-69 Camaro/Firebird; 1968-72 Nova Stock Height Spindles - Billet Aluminum
These billet-aluminum spindles and steering arms are direct-replacement components for popular GM A-, F-, and X-body muscle cars from 1964 to 1972. While maintaining compatibility with the factory lower control arm, and most tubular control arms and brakes, improvements to the spindle geometry are incorporated. These are superior to a steel spindle, and is much more rigid and lighter weight. The resulting increase in suspension geometry control is substantial. Available in 2" drop and stock height uprights. Overall height of both upright versions is 1-1/2" taller than stock, resulting in more aggressive camber gain with increased cornering ability. Spindles feature a sleek black-anodized finish. Heat treated, corrosion resistant, slotted flange nuts are included, 1/2"-20 for upper and 9/16"-18 for lower ball joints. The optional K7964527 5/8"-18 flange nuts for oversize stud lower ball joints are sold separately. For use with brakes that attach to OEM-style disc brake mount locations.
NOTE: Note: Taller spindle height requires K5755628 Chassisworks billet steering arms and aftermarket tubular upper A-arms to properly position ball joint range of alignment. Minimum rim size is 15 to 18" diameter, depending upon width and brake kit.
