1962-72 Dodge, Plymouth A/B/E-Body; Power Steering Gear Box
Remanufactured power steering box is for the 1962-72 A/B/E-body models. This part has been completely disassembled; bearing, bushings & seals replaced(if applicable); wear surfaces inspected and hard parts replaced if necessary; fully adjusted; bencht ested for running torque and play; and hydraulically tested to ensure operation and seals.The gear box housing has been industrially cleaned to remove any scale or rust and then spray painted to have a cast iron finish. These boxes have the correct sizean d splined output shaft so your original pitman arm can be installed. This box will give you the right restoration look with brand new parts inside for happy driving. Includes valve.
Important: The steering system must be flushed and replaced with OE recommended fluid. Hoses should be inspected and replaced if they have been in use for more than 5 years.
