1955-57 Chevrolet 265-400 Uncoated (Raw Steel) Oval Port Shorty Patriot Headers

These popular 1955-57 Chevrolet passenger car headers offer superior performance and are designed to clear most air conditioning, power brake, and power steering systems. Extra ground clearance makes "slammed" vehicles driveable and above frame rail ex haust system installation easy.

Included with each set are installation hardware, collector reducers, gaskets and instructions.

These headers are raw st eel and are uncoated for those who wish to apply their own type or color of coating. Although an uncoated hedder can be used, we recommend the use of a thermal coating or a high temperature paint (sold separately) to protect them from the elements and pr olong their life. • Fits D-Port cylinder heads including Z Z4 crate engines
• Will not work with 168 tooth flywheels or kickout aftermarket starters
• Will fit most angle plug heads including factory Chevrolet "Bow Tie" heads
• Header is designed to fit cars using original V8 pitman arm no t 6 cylinder pitman arm. Aftermarket pitman arms must be same as OE for proper header fit
