Pertronix' Ignitor III system offers you ignition box performance without the box! The Ignitor III is the most advanced points replacement setup available. The Ignitor III literally is an ignition box, just inside of the distributor. The Ignitor III delivers multiple sparks throught the entire RPM range features a rev limiter accurate to +/- 50 RPM. You set the Rev limiter with an LED user feedback display for rev limit confirmation. The Ignitor III module generates 5 times more spark than stock points ignition. This means more spark energy creating more horsepower and better fuel economy.

The Ignitor III offers you such features as adaptive dwell, which maintains peak energy throughout the entire RPM range, reducing misfires while improving engine performance. Peak current level is reach just prior to spark for maximum energy without the heat build up, increasing coil performance and module reliability. 50-state smog legal.
